Penurunan kapal dengan metode airbag memiliki potensi risiko yang besar terhadap dampak pada kerusakan kapal. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan masih adanya kecelakaan penurunan airbag. Pada monohull (lambung tunggal), posisi dan tekanan angin sangat mempengaruhi saat peluncuran agar tetap stabil tidak mengalami kondisi kritis seperti tipping, dropping stern lift. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui berapa harus dimasukkan menggunakan menganalisa setiap . dilakukan secara eksperimental di Laboratorium Slipway Fakultas Teknik Universitas Pattimura sebenarnya. Peluncuran periode pertama, (F1) adalah 0,66 lebih dari nilai F3 yaitu 0,62 0,24 bar pertama.
